Sandro Friedrich Nationality: Swiss Instruments: Ethnic wind instruments. Biography: Sandro is a studio musician and composer who plays over 100 different wind instruments from all over the world including duduk, fujara, shakuhachi, didgeridoo, various whistles and flutes, jews harps and bag pipes. He also performs live in various bands and combinations e.g. with Andreas Vollenweider / Switzerland and Shigeru Umebayashi / Japan. His references include Howard Shore's CD 'The Lord of the Rings Symphony', Andreas Vollenweider's 'Book of Roses', 'Eolian Minstrel' and 'Air', Marcel Barsotti's 'Ethnoworld 4' and Kenbiroli films' 'The Drummer' and many other awarded film music projects.
